This is another of my detail shots. The thistle is relatively small and ugly, however
back lit by the dusk sky it takes on a dramatic and interesting appearance.
If you think it would be better with the setting sun behind it just think of whether you would like to see the sunset or the thistle. Its like the Forest for the trees.

Jack Ader – Images fro Presentation Jack became interested in photography when he was 10 years old when he was given the job of taking almost all of his families pictures. In high school he became interested in photographing biological specimens under the microscope, which he accomplished with a $10.00 microscope and a $5.00 camera. In college he studied Studio photography as well as Graphic Arts photography. After school he was employed by a quality lithographic printer he continued his photographic passions by partnering with a friend to form a Wedding and Bar Mitzvah company called Special Occasion Services.
