Artist's Description

During my time photographing historic sites on Long Island for the production of the year 2000 calendar, I also took time to photograph the surrounding scenery. On the way to the Montauk Lighthouse I passed Turtle Bay and took time to shoot this serene seascape.

Jack Ader – Images fro Presentation Jack became interested in photography when he was 10 years old when he was given the job of taking almost all of his families pictures. In high school he became interested in photographing biological specimens under the microscope, which he accomplished with a $10.00 microscope and a $5.00 camera. In college he studied Studio photography as well as Graphic Arts photography. After school he was employed by a quality lithographic printer he continued his photographic passions by partnering with a friend to form a Wedding and Bar Mitzvah company called Special Occasion Services.
