Every year I give approx 2 seminars on Digital Photography. They are never very technical because my belief is you can take beautiful pictures if you know where and how to look for them. I also stress the importance of details. This image is all about the details. The lone flower seemingly out of place: the texture of the bark on the tree: the significance of all the shadows in the image on the bark itself as well and the shadow of the flower.

In high school he became interested in photographing biological specimens under the microscope, which he accomplished with a $10.00 microscope and a $5.00 camera.
